Cork Camogie Star

Cork and Douglas camogie star Sarah Fahy paid a visit to Scoil Niocláis. She brought the All Star trophies won by her team mates Catríona and Pamela Mackey last year.

Night Mail

In Ms. Ruane's class we created charcoal drawings based on the poem "Night Mail" by W.H. Auden.

Tree Day 6th October 2016  

A brand new Cork Oak was planted on the grounds of Scoil Nioclais by Ms O'Connell's Senior Infants and Ms Bradley's Fourth class to mark Tree Day 6th October 2016. Michael was on hand to dig the hole for it and we made sure to water it in well. 

Each year we have planted trees for tree week and tree day. We hope to plant more trees during the year! 

Thanks also to The Tree Council of Ireland who send a free sapling tree every year and this year we received a small Rowan tree for the grounds.
